Membership Terms and Conditions
I/We apply for membership of Sydney All Breeds Dog Training Club Inc (the Club). In the event of admission as member(s), I/we agree to be bound by the rules of the Club for the time being in force.I/We agree and acknowledge attendance at all Club activities and training sessions is at my/our own risk and will not hold the Club or it's members liable for any personal injury or damage to property that I/we may suffer during such time.I/We agree dogs, big or small, can harm a person. Nevertheless, I/we wish to participate in activities organised by the Club.Members, families or friends who attend any activity organised by the Club will not hold the Club officers or volunteers liable should they be harmed by a dog during Club organised activities.I/We will accept responsibility for the behaviour of anybody who may accompany me/us during the activities of the Club.I/We agree to keep my/our dog on a leash at all times unless agreed otherwise while in a supervised class.I/We will not hold the Club, its officials, or volunteers to be liable if I/we are harmed in any way by a dog during any activity organised by the ClubI/We consent to images of us and our dogs being taken during class by those authorised by the club to take photos and videos.
CLASS CANCELLATIONS / CHANGES TO CLASS TIMESExtreme weather and Council closure of the field may result in changes to/cancellation of classes. SABDTC will inform members by 8:00 a.m. on Sunday. (By 7am during Summer schedule).
SOCIAL MEDIA POLICYSydney All Breeds Dog Training Club has a website, public Social Media pages and Club Email Communications. The website provides a public presence. Our Social Media pages provides an interactive means of advertising our club and its events. No private information is to be given out.
WEBSITEOur website will:• Include current information on competitions, social events, committees, policies, constitution, rules and by-laws.• Holds club archive.• Provide a means for the public to contact the office bearers.• Not publish offensive content or photos.• Use only your given name and/or dogs name with images. No other personal information will be disclosed without permission.
SOCIAL MEDIA (INCLUDING YOUTUBE, FACEBOOK AND INSTAGRAM)• All social media posts will be treated as public (within the definition of each group) property.• Postings will always be family friendly and feature club news, results, events and/or questions.• We may use you/your dogs image, using only your given name and/or dogs name. No other personal information will be disclosed.• No statement will be made that is misleading, false or likely to injure a person’s reputation.• No comment that could not be said face to face will be posted.• No statements will be made that might bring our club into disrepute. Abusive, discriminatory, intimidating or offensive statements will not be tolerated. Offending posts will be removed and those responsible will be blocked from the site for a period of one month. Any further offence will result in being blocked from the group for a period as determined by the committee.• Members who find a post offensive should contact the social media platform’s page administrators (via Personal Message PM) immediately.• The Group Administrators have the right to delete any posts seen to be offensive.
EMAIL• Email Communications are issued as often are required to Club Members.• We may use you/your dogs image, using only your given name and/or dogs name. No other personal information will be disclosed.
